To me rule of thirds really means knowing where to position the main subject you want the person to see and be drawn to. Throughout this project I really enjoyed capturing simple things but adding some brightness and vibrant colors to make it pop!
Flower:
My 1st picture is this flower. Where I really wanted the focus was on the little purple petals it has, when closer up on the picture you can even see the little webs it had left from spiders. I focused a lot on detail and am super happy with how it came out!
Smiling girl:
I really wanted the focus on her smiling..when I took it she was already laughing so it felt so natural to take it and really show how she felt. I decided to do black and white because I love how it makes the picture come together in a very simple yet elegant way.
Blue ball park:
On this picture I wanted the focus on the vibrant color and texture of the ball to the right. I wanted to get an up close view of what these balls look like up close and then from far away into the distance.
